Dearest Woody,
You were a good hamster (even if you did try to escape at every given opportunity). I'm sorry you had to endure those three days of sickness. I'm sure you are now in a much better place. Buzz and I will miss you dearly.

Stupid Van
It was our history test today. I'm thinking that I did really bad on it though. Chloe and I are in the same history class now. I'm excited for that.
In piano lab today I gave my first recital. It sucked. I can't even play! lol. Mr. Blackburn is a awesome teacher though. He makes me laugh.
I thought I was going to get my car back today... I didn't. Our van engine is a gonner. We're going to have to pay $3000 to replace it. I'm probably going to have to wait another 2-3 weeks. Anyways, about the van, there is no way we have that kind of money lying around. According to my mom, we just keep digging ourselves into debt. There's a possibility that we'll put our house up for sale within the next month... It's crazy.
With everything that's going on, I started feeling really stressed. It got to the point where I was making myself sick - I felt like I was going to puke. I was on the verge of tears when I got to the studio, but things started getting better from there.
In my little ninja class today there were four new little students. One of them was Jon's daughter. Her name is Brooklyn, and she's adorable!
We changed up our teaching schedule. I'm going to be teaching less, and doing more receptionist work. Not my favorite... but definitely something that I'm going to have to be familiar with when I open my own studio.
I'm getting more excited for Cali all the time. Today I found out that Samantha Chipman is going. It will be fun with her. Michael Brooks and Jon are going to work with me on sparring. Can I just say that we have the best team ever! :)

Typical Sunday
Typical Sunday.
I took a longer nap then planned... Now I'll probably be up late tonight completing history homework and studying for the test tomorrow.

My Date With Dad
This morning was a HOS meeting. Master Lawrence invited me to come. Michael and I were getting trained on answering the phone. Bree and Maddi came also. It was good to see them. The meeting lasted over three hours. It felt pretty long. I did however get pizza out of the deal. Haha
Later today, my dad took me to do baptisms for the dead. I got to be baptized for my Great Grandma Martha. :)
After going to the temple, me and my dad went to see "Life As We Knew It." It was a funny movie. I liked it a lot.
When the movie was over, we went to Sizzler because we had a coupon for two steak dinners. We waited about an hour to be seated, but the food was worth the wait. I'm pretty sure it was my first time eating at Sizzler. Everything tasted great.
I had fun spending time with my dad today. :)

My Dad Saved Me
I don't think I'm going to like my speech and debate class. There are events all the time, and they are going to take up my Saturdays... It will force me to cut back on the mornight classes that I take in Orem. Maybe I'll try to transfer out.
I transferred into an art class. I've been conflicted about taking one for two years now. I took it against my better judgement, and I'm glad. I really think I'm going to like the class and Mr. Hegsted. He's hilarious, and we're getting along already. We've been working on spheres, and mine is pretty good if I say so myself.
My mom still has possession of my car. It's bugging me so bad having to rely on her for rides all the time.
Today before karate, Chloe and David came over. David played me my song again. This time it was new and improved. I love it! David is sweet. They also made me late for work.
They also came to the dojo as I was finishing up my grappling class. When we finished up, David asked me if Michael had proposed to me yet. Chloe must have told him that my mom has already planned out life together. Perfect....
After karate, we went back to my house and ate burritos before heading to a party. The party was at Brooke Payne's house. We played air Hockey and watched the Dark Knight. It was Chloe's first time seeing it. It's about time - We are the Batman fanatics after all.
After the movie I was informed that tonight was the last night for February's ACT test registration. I called my dad from Brooke's house, and he did the entire registration for me, including the $35 payment. I have the best dad ever! I can't skip out on this one, especially since I'm not the one who paid the testing fee. Guess I should start hitting the books...
Chloe's dad isn't letting her go to St. George with Morgan and Meagan. I feel kind of guilty for being secretly thrilled.

Break Come Back!
I just thought that I'd let everyone know that my Christmas break was awesome. Colten taught me how to drive his jeep, David wrote me a song, I saw the new Narnia movie sitting between two guys so I would look like a pimp, and I hung out with Chloe pretty much everyday. At around 2:00 am New Years, we became pro at playing Mary Had a Little Lamb on Martinelli bottles :)
Anyways, I'm now back to the daily grind. I'm already stressed out thinking about upcoming assignments. I am sore from karate, because I came back, full force, without practicing at all during my time off. Today was ACT registration and I got freaked just answering the registration questions... I do NOT want to take this test!
The break from everything was so relaxing. I just wish that it lasted and I don't have to deal with all these new worries.

Open Tourney? Yes Please!
I've been craving chocolate a lot lately. This is not good, especially since I have a ton of it from the Holidays. It's just sitting there, challenging my self control.
I transferred into an art class today. I've been debating about it for a while now. It's not that I don't enjoy drawing, it's just that I heard the teacher rarely gives out A's. We started out by drawing and shading a sphere. He said that I did a good job. I think I'm going to like art class.
The Red Cross came to my school today. I was going to donate blood since I'm now seventeen, but my mom wouldn't let me right before karate, so I never did.
Karate was really fun tonight. I got a really good workout. Master Lawrence told me that a parent complimented me on working hard. Michael, Jessica and I staid after and worked with Bobby on some extra curriculum. I love the people I work with!
I got invited to California to compete in an open tournament. I've never been to one before, but I really want to. If I can go, it will be toward the end of March. We'll also go to Disneyland.
When I got home, Hopper called me. We talked on the phone for almost two hours! Aside from Chloe, and possibly Bao, that is the longest I have ever talked to anyone on the phone. We played 20 questions. I learned a lot about Hopper. I learned that his dream home will have two sheds, one for his tools, and the other one will be for his wife. Haha! We also had some serious conversations. Hop is a funny kid. I'm glad we're friends.
